Cypress Creek Renewables, a leading US producer of renewable energy and solar equipment, operated across 556 subsidiaries with geographically dispersed employees and facilities. The company needed to replace its outdated invoicing system with a modern solution that could handle incoming invoices across all companies.

Handling paper-based invoices across the many production units was no longer sustainable. The company needed to digitize the entire invoice process, including time-consuming matching against purchase orders, introduce digital approval flows, and establish a searchable invoice archive for audit purposes.

Rillion's system automated data capture from scanned documents with 98% accuracy. The platform automatically matches supplier invoices against purchase orders imported from Cypress Creek's purchasing system and transfers matched invoices to Sage Intacct for payment – only invoices with discrepancies require manual review. A predefined digital approval flow distributes invoices via email notification, so approvers can review and approve from any device.
